Party At Deadwood

Karly turned 16! To celebrate we had a mystery dinner party. It was called Murder at the Deadwood Saloon. We found the game at nightofmystery.com They had the complete package.

The kids seemed to have had a fun time playing dress up and getting into character.  Now we need to have a murder party for our grown-up friends. Kim and I use to have murder parties a lot when we where young married and had energy.

If you have never been to a murder party, everyone at the party is giving a character profile and basic story-line before coming to the party. You come to the party dressed as your character and pretend to be that person all night.
At some parties the murder happens before the party and others it happens during. At Karly's the murder happened during the party. During the party you solve the murder by talking to everyone and figuring out clues. It's a great way to get people to talk to each other. The kids did great and stayed in character the whole time.
At the end of the party we gave a prize to the person who solved the murder first and one to the one who had the most money at the end of the game. The kids voted on the Best Dressed and Drama Queen.

okay, so I want to know who won! And how did the bar tending go?
I love that all of us girls have progressively worn that dress at different times. I am NEVER getting rid of my old formals!
